It’s that time of year, where it’s still really hot but we Angelenos still try to feel those Autumn vibes. So even though we’re in the 80’s still this week, put one or more of these in your calendar to help you look forward to some Fall fun.

October 1st-27th: Boo at the Zoo
Los Angeles, 11:00-4:00PM (Tickets Required)
There will be a mini pumpkin patch, the opportunity to get close to some creepy critters and a Boo bird show. Not only that, but on weekends they have extra events such a “Spooktacular” science show. Check the website to make sure the activity you’re interested in is offered on the day you plan to go.

Sunday, October 13th: Annual Fall festival
The Americana, Glendale 12:00-4:00PM (Tickets Required)
There will be face painting, balloon twisting and Halloween crafts as well as live entertainment at this one. While children under two are free, the rest of us have to pay $15.00 to get in if we are early birds or $20 for general admission.

Saturday, October 19th: Harvest Town
Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts, Los Feliz 4:00-8:00PM
Featuring games, food and something called the Hauntorium this is a school fundraiser. While admission is free there are all access wristbands you can buy for $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the door.

Saturday, October 19th: Kidspace Museum Pumpkin Festival

Kidspace Museum Pumpkin Festival
Brookside Park, Pasadena 10:00-3:30PM
There will be a petting zoo, pony rides, bouncers, and seasonal crafts. While you do need to purchase tickets for food and attractions, you can actually enter the festival for free. That’s right, even though it’s through Kidspace they set up in the front of it in Brookside park so everyone can enjoy.

Sunday, October 20th: Family Festival Time Travel
Pasadena 1:00-3:30PM
The Norton Simon Fall festival has a time travel theme and it will take families on a journey through time with different pop-up art making activities in the galleries and the gardens.

Monday, October 21st: Fall Festival
Pacific Community Center, Glendale 12:00-4:00PM
Not only those this one have a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for sale this Fall festival includes the Glendale rocks climbing wall. There will also be games, crafts and a petting zoo.

Saturday, October 26th: All Hallows Ghostly Gallop
Bette Davis Park, Glendale Riverside Rancho 11:00-5:00PM
Technically the horse parade is a Halloween event, but it’s followed by a Fall festival so it made the list. There will be a costume contest, food, games, pumpkin decorating and short pony rides.

Saturday, October 26th: City of Pasadena Fall festival
Victory Park, Pasadena 2:00-6:00PM
With everything from a costume contest, games, pony rides and a trackless train this one is going to be fun. They even specifically said they are going to set up a tiny tot area so even if you worry your kiddo might be to young they’ve got you covered.
