There is probably a lot of debate about what makes a restaurant family friendly or kid friendly. For me, it should have fast service, be able to fit a stroller, and have an environment where my kids can, you know, act like kids. Eagle Rocks Oinkster hits all these targets and has awesome milkshakes too, so all-in-all it’s a winner.

One of my favorite things about Oinkster is that it’s really high quality fast food. I enjoy the Cluckster an amazing chicken sandwich), my husband will always order their pastrami and the boys get to split a rotisserie chicken meal. They have kids’ meals, but we like to take home their left-overs and use them for lunches. Sometimes we reach an evening where the day got busy and all of a sudden it’s minutes from when dinner needs to be on the table and we all need to leave the house, and that is when Oinkster saves the day. We load up in the car, order our food and are eating quality food within minutes while my kiddos walk around on the bench and enjoy their roast chicken and french fries.

My only complaint is that the patio doesn’t have a gate to stop kiddos from running into the parking lot, but hey that just helps us remember to be attentive.
