Hidden in Atwater Village down a street where you kind of convince yourself you might be going the wrong way is a gem of a park called North Atwater Park. Here are some of our favorite things about this park:

What works:

  • There is so much lovely shade to help the park stay cooler on a hot day.
  • The parking lot is big so easy to park and go play.
  • The structure and equipment is new and in good condition.
  • The bathrooms are really close to the playground.
  • There is a shaded area with tables.

What could use improvements:

  • The bathrooms are very much park bathrooms, you get the picture.
  • The parking lot is very uneven.
